Procedure
Data Definitions:
Urban Area
*District Name: This column should capture only the districts in the state where fire services can be availed.
ULB Name: This column should capture only the ULBs in the state where fire services can be availed.
Sub District Name: This column should capture only the sub districts in the state where fire services can be availed.
Serving Fire Station Name: This column should capture the Code: Unique code given to each district in the Area served masters.
*ULB Code: Unique code given to each ULB in the Area served masters.
*Fire Station Name: The fire station that will serve the district - ULB combination for urban areas.
Fire Station Code: Unique code given to each fire station in the fire station masters.
Rural Area
*District Code: Unique code given to each district in the Area served masters.
*Sub District Code: Unique code given to each sub-district in the Area served masters.
*Fire Station Name: The fire station that will serve the district - ULB combination for urban areas and district - sub sub-district combination for rural areas.
*Fire Station Code: Unique code given to each fire station in the fire station masters.
How to fill data:
Urban Area - Fire Mapping
Identify the districts district where fire services are provided and push their names in District Name columncode in the district code column.
Identify the ULBs within each district where fire services are provided and push them their codes in the ULB Name code column next to the appropriate District Namecode.
Identify the fire station that is serving each District - ULB combination and push the name in the fire station column along with its unique code in the Fire fire station Columncode.
Rural Area - Fire Mapping
Identify the districts district where fire services are provided and push their names in District Name columncode in the district code column.
Identify the sub-district districts within each district where fire services are provided and push them their codes in the Sub District Name sub-district code column next to the appropriate District Namedistrict code.
Identify the fire station that is serving each District - sub- Sub District district combination and push the name in the Fire station Columnfire station column along with its unique code in the fire station code.
Validation
Make sure that there is uniformity in the fire station names, district names, sub-district names, and ULB names across the template sheets.
