About This Manual
This manual has been written to help the users of Fire No Objection Certificate (NoC) application to understand and use the product. The chapters in this manual are organized to present the functional and operational capabilities of Fire NoC. It explains the procedures to the citizen to initiate and complete the fire NoC application and make payment for the charges and fees for the request. Introduction to Fire NoC
Fire NoC is an application developed on DIGIT platform by eGovernments Foundation to facilitates citizens to apply online for no object certificates of fire from Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and employees of ULBs to issue certificates in an efficient and transparent manner. A citizen can apply for provisional (pre-construction) and new (post-construction) fire NoC online without visiting ULB and application takes care of all the stages of the life cycle of the Fire NoC process. The ultimate goal the application is meant to achieve are making the application, processing, and issuing of NoC transparent to the citizen, eliminate current manual process existing across the ULBs, better citizen service and better interaction between ULB employees and citizen.
