Introduction

The definition of a designation is the act of pointing someone out with a name, a title or an assignment. An example of designation is someone being named president of an organization. This document will give an overview of the various short forms for the designation generally used in a state.

Procedure

Data Definition

  • Field(s) Description :

    • Sr.No: Defines the serial no of the line item.

    • Designation Name - Nomenclature of “Designations” in English.

    • Designation Name (Local Language): Designation Name in local language. e.g. Hindi, Telugu etc.

    • Designation Code : Unique Identifier for Designation which is used as a reference for child configuration mapping.

This sheet shall be used to configure the HRMS module with relevant designations

Validations

  • All the fields with * sign are mandatory to be filled in. Without this information, the system configurations cannot be executed.

  • A “single entry” should be made against the respective column. Incase of multiple entries, continuation must be followed.

Do’s and Don'ts

  1. Don't change the shortcodes for Designations.

  2. The spelling of the designation have to cross-verified when uploaded in the HRMS module.
