Protocol for Trainings

Introduction

The objective of this page is to elaborate on the protocols to be followed as part of DIGIT / other trainings which eGov will conduct with Partner Teams

Target Audience

This write-up is meant for following audience:

  1. Trainees

  2. Trainers

  3. Training Orchestrators

Roles and Responsibilities

Trainees

  1. Be on time

  2. Ensure that all prerequisites mentioned for training have been covered before you join the training

  3. Ensure that your desktops / laptops are properly configured for you to optimally receive the training

  4. Ideally ensure that power and internet connectivity is stable for the duration of the training

  5. If you are unsure whether you should be part of the training, please confirm with your lead / eGov training orchestrator

  6. Take notes (physical / digital) to avoid repetition on the part of trainers

  7. Wait for the right window to ask questions rather than interrupting flow of the training. But do ensure that any questions you have been asked and if not answered atleast documented for consideration

  8. Make sure you cover any pre-reads / assignments on time so as to save time for hands-on during the training

Trainers

  1. Be on time

  2. Ensure that all the material / prerequisites necessary to conduct a thorough training have been communicated in advance to trainees

  3. Ensure that your desktops/laptops are properly configured for you to optimally give the training

  4. Ideally ensure that power and internet connectivity is stable for the duration of the training

  5. Ensure that any material / data which you share with trainers is not part of any sensitive / non-disclosable information

  6. Momentarily halt while delivering training to provide an opportunity for trainees to recollect their thoughts and put forward any queries/concerns they have

Training Orchestrators

  1. Ensure that Trainers and Trainees are aware of the training time, the topic of training, prerequisites, pre-reads / assignments etc

  2. Ensure introductions are made before beginning the training to ensure that appropriate Trainees and Trainers are attending the training

  3. Ensure that any open items are documented and communicated appropriately post training to relevant stakeholders

  4. Ensure that feedback of the training is received in time, analysed and passed on to respective stakeholders

Tools used for Remote training

  1. Stable Internet Connectivity (atleast 50 mbps)

  2. Google Meet - for online conferencing (works best with updated Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox)

    1. Recording meetings

  3. Chrome Remote Desktop (works best with updated Google Chrome)
