Water & Sewerage v2.1

Environment

 

In version 2.1 of Water & Sewerage, a user can perform the following actions:

  1. Search for a property within W&S to get a new connection

  2. Create a new property, if a user's property is not registered in the system

Apart from these, there are also few more features added in order to bring enhancements in the product, such as 'Documents required page before applying', 'Inclusion of rebate/penalty', 'Format changes in Sanction letter/SMS', 'Addition of payment status'.

 

Highlights

 

  1. Create a property from W&S, Apply for a new Connection page, using minimum required parameters to generate a property ID

  2. Search for property from the Property search page in W&S, to get a connection on any property which is registered in the system

  3. Upfront information about the documents required for applying for a new connection

  4. Apply rebate/penalty at the time of bill payment

  5. Citizen to get additional information about 'Plumber assigned' and 'SLA' in Notifications and Sanction letter

 

Release Features

The W&S Version 2.1 release is equipped to allow citizens and employee to register a property for new water and sewerage connection . The application is designed to facilitate following affordance:

  • Search any Property 

  • Create a new Property

  • Employee can apply rebate/penalty at the time of bill payment

Search Property

  1. Search for a property at the time of applying for a new connection

  2. Search using simple parameters as Mobile no., Unique property ID

  3. Citizen can search properties in other cities as well

  4. Link the property to get a new connection

 

Register New Property 

  1. Create a new property by filling basic information

  2. Enter Property assembly details, location details and Owner details

  3. Generate a unique property ID to get a connection

  4. Property Tax ontology followed to cater more no. of use cases for property creation for eg.

    1. Property Usage Type

    2. Owner details

 

Documents required UI

  1. Upfront documents required page enlists the document required at the time of connection

  2. Fetches the value directly from W&S MDMS

  3. Configurable message at the footer

 

Payment status

  1. Payment status displayed on the task details page of the application

  2. Based on the state of the application, payment status displayed as 'Paid successfully' or 'Not paid'

 

Inclusion of rebate/penalty

  1. Provision to apply rebate/penalty on bill preview page

  2. Add reasons for providing rebate such as 'One time settlement scheme'

 

Sanction letter/SMS changes

  1. Plumber assigned details such as Plumber name, contact, licence no. added in Sanction letter and SMS

  2. Timeline for connection execution added in the form of SLA in Sanction letter and SMS
