Introduction
Buildings are classified based on occupancy and types of construction. These are used to configure the OBPS module which has been described in the table below.

Procedure
Data Definition
Field(s) Description :
Sr.No.: Defines the serial no of the line item.
Occupancy Name: Name provided for occupancy name which is used to configure the OBPAS module. Can be referred from National Bye-Law
Occupancy Name: Occupancy Name in the local language. e.g. Hindi, Telugu, etc.
Occupancy Code: COde provided in respect to occupancy name. It can be numeric and alphanumeric as well.
Steps to fill data
Identify the “Occupancy Type ” that exists at a ULB/ State level.
Priorly, there are certain occupancy type which are already mentioned in the national bye-law (http://mohua.gov.in/upload/uploadfiles/files/Chap-4.pdf)
Collect the above information and feed it below the “Occupancy Name” column accordingly.
Add the “Occupancy Code” respectively against the identified Occupancy Name(s).
The format of the Occupancy Code will either be predefined or can be a continuous numeric/alphanumeric sequence as per the requirement.
Validations
All the fields with * sign are mandatory to be filled in. Without this information, the system configurations cannot be executed.
A “single entry” should be made against the respective column. In case of multiple entries, continuation must be followed.
The code can be alphanumeric as provided by the state
